November 28, 2008 is the new date confirmed by the power company Vattenfall for the installation of the counter and thus for the connection to the network. This day will also be beginning of the contracted compensation for electricity fed into the grid for a time period of at least 20 years, guaranteed by the Renewable Energies Law (Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz, EEG).

There is yet another special event ahead of us: The installation of the display panel that will make the generated energy visible to everyone. We will be sure to let you know about this significant day in time.

Because of the onset of winter weather last weekend – snow, ice, cold and slickness – the work on the roof can continue only to a very limited extent at the moment. The work does go on however, and we are very grateful for this project that will ensure school operations and along with it the children’s education at FESB now and in the long run.
