Press release 07/2008 from June 24, 2008
Mark Ehrenfried performs for the children at the Free Evangelical Schools

He is considered a prodigy. At the tender age of three he decided to learn how to play the piano, at the age of nine he recorded his first CD. We are talking about Mark Ehrenfried, the prizewinning pianist extraordinaire.

And – not surprisingly, since, at 17, he is still a teenager himself – he has a heart for children. So, on short notice and quite unexpectedly, he will visit the Free Evangelical Schools Berlin in Prenzlauer Berg, 14 Christburger Straße, 10405 Berlin, on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 12:30 p.m. He will present a cross section of piano music from Schubert to Bach to the students (and interested parents, friends, …). It will be a 60-minute, top notch concert.

A Steinway grand piano loaned to the FESB by pianist Martin Helmchen will guarantee a great sound.

We would be delighted if you reported about this extraordinary concert.

Thank you for your interest!
