Neighborhood Summer Party of the Free Evangelical Schools Berlin

There is much to celebrate. The elementary school of the Free Evangelical Schools Berlin in Prenzlauer Berg celebrates its 20th anniversary. Furthermore, our junior high school will be 10 years old this year.

Besides a variety of other events to celebrate these anniversaries, there will be two summer parties this Friday, July 11, 2008, in our schoolyard at 14 Christburger Straße:

Between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. all children from our neighborhood in Prenzlauer Berg are invited to participate in numerous activities like games for young and old, trampoline, water volleyball, face painting, giant chess, Fri Fra, activities organized by the after-school care center and many more. And since the school wants to serve the neighborhood, all activities are free of charge. We only ask for a donation for food and beverages.

Between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. teens are invited to join a beach cocktail party. In addition to many activities, there will be a barbecue, non-alcoholic beverages and music with DJ Paul. Further highlights will include the alumni café “Reunion”, waveboard workshops and a climbing wall. Teens from the neighborhood are welcome to join us.

On Saturday, July 12th 2008, at 10:00 a.m., we will hold a celebration and thanksgiving service in our large gym.

We would be delighted if you announced our parties in advance and reported about them.
We would also be happy to welcome you at our celebration.

A further highlight will be a panel discussion on educational policy on October 16, 2008 –
We will inform and invite you in good time.
